The client or a family member passes
TRANSFER
Accounts is informed of the residual value left over
The Team Leader will convert the information in DA from Pre-need to At-need and transfer the value of the contract
If there are any residual values left over the Accounts department is notified
Receives Cheque
Ends
The contract is then closed in DA
The physical Contract is amended to reflect the change
All the cost associated with the funeral is entered in DA and net off against the contract value
Accounts
The Team Leader at the branch is notified of the passing
PRIMARY
Branch
Prepares a cheque for the residual value and sends to the client or beneficiary
The primary will continue to pay the premium associated with the contract
Customer / Family
The information is then used to update the excel spreadsheet
Who died?
The FLC Coordinator is notified of the passing
Start
The refund is recorded in Sage 50
